Nige loves a tree!
The long branches of this Beech at Rosecraddoc are quite remarkable in their length. Another branch wraps itself around them and gives the limbs more strength.
At Golitha there are some forks where the union would normally be weak. Yet above, the limbs conjoin tightly, looking...

We are making our woodland steps from the oak and hazel that need thinning and coppicing.

We are so thankful to be able to offer our help in the Cornwall Wildlife’s Trusts badger vaccination programme. It spreads light over a long dark road of the controversial culling. Please support with all your heart. It’s the only answer in offering farmers an alternative.

The rather sweet Brussels Lace caterpillar, (Cleorodes lichenaria)
Saved from a mulberry branch before it got chipped today when pruning.

It’s pretty special when you receive a photo update from a client about how the gardens we manage are looking in Autumn. #cornwallgardens

We recommend the Happy Habitats team without hesitation. They did a great job cutting down many high and difficult to reach branches, each member of the team playing their part in the process. They are a very happy and friendly team and we cannot speak too highly of them and the work they did for us. Many thanks.

It's difficult to find a good garden and tree service, right? Look no further than the team at Happy Habitats. Not only excellent value, but real expertise; honest advice; professional attitude and lovely people. Our problem sycamore right above our decking is a problem no more; perfectly pollarded; healthy and ready for many more seasons. Plus Angie and Nige stacked a load of perfectly trimmed logs that should last us a few winters too. Give them a call; you won't be disappointed!

Nigel and Angie are regulars now and the only tree surgeons I’d ask advice from and to come and work here at Pennywort Mill. Why? They are responsive to urgent call outs and go out their way to respond quickly and effectively - from first call to completion was just a couple of hours. For the more routine planned maintenance, they approach the environment with a balanced eco-management mind and advise accordingly. For me, they balance wildlife carefully against practical tree management. Their knowledge of wildlife and habitat is refreshing and impressive.
